Roslindale Village Main Street will be commemorating the 125th year anniversary, of the Bussey Bridge Train Disaster with "Train Month, next month" The bridge collapsed on March 14, 1887. Walking tours, children bridge building contest, speakers, train model museum open house, film series, and regional economic tie-ins are all being discussed to be part of the event. Stay tune as the plan unveils and I figure out how I am going to help with the promotion.

Below is a plaque on the site of the new bridge at the corner of Archdale and South Streets, adjacent to the Arnold Arboretum.
